I am a lucky girl!

This weekend Al and I went shopping and I was treated to some lovely new things.  I have bought a pair of jeans with embroidery down the leg which look lovely, the best news of all they are a size 18!  We were looking round the shop and I said that I don't know whether I need a size 20 or 22, we picked up a 20, went to try them on and they were too loose.  Al grabbed a size 18 and they fitted.  Size 18, me!  I was so pleased I actually did a happy dance in the shop.

We then went past Boots and they were doing a promotion where they would sort out the correct foundation for your skin colour, now I am no good at make up and very rarely wear it due to that fact, but I am feeling so confident at the moment I thought I would go and ask advice.  The lady in there was lovely, not only did she match my foundation, but she gave me tips of the right eyeshadow and lipstick colours too and to top it all I even got a free gift of some more mini bits because I spent over £22.00!  I could not believe that make up was so expensive, and this was Number 7 stuff!  I am sure the last time I bought lipstick it was only about £3.00, but thinking back that was before Kirsty was born so maybe I am a bit out of date.

To finish a lovely day, I was also treated to some lovely perfume, it is a really nice smell and not too heavy.  So there you go, it has taken 36 years but finally I am turning into a girl!
