This one is for my bosses birthday, it is just a simple nine patch but I think it is quite effective.
I have now been asked by my sister to help her make 39 nativity costumes for the pre-school she volunteers at. My sewing machine will certainly be getting a workout helping with that little lot. Em has recruited my mum and I into her 'happy band' Mary and Joseph robes, here we come!
On another happy note, I finally made it to the 3 stone mark in my weight loss journey, I have actually lost 1lb over 3 stone which means I am only 7lb from my 50lb certificate. It has made such a difference to my life, I have so much more energy, I even voluntarily walk up the stairs in the car park instead of taking the lift! the best feeling was today though, I have two 1920's parties to go to in December and I have bought myself a dark red charleston dress, I bought an 18-20 hoping I might lose enough weight to get into it by then, it arrived today and it fits! I was so happy I did a little dance. This time last year, I went to a 1940's night dressed in a size 24 tea dress, so to be in an 18-20 is huge! Anyway, I can't sit around on the PC all evening, I have sewing by the bucket load to do. I will post pictures of the costumes as we rustle them up.

Well done on the weight loss. Good luck with the nativity robes - it'll be worth it when you see the nativity play!
