I have always shied away from exercise in anyway shape or form, the only thing I have really done in the last few years is the walking from geocaching. So why suddenly am I enjoying it? I am finding myself actually looking forward to my Zumba session on a Wednesday! Yes it half kills me and I sweat like a demon but I love it. I can't do all the jumpy bits for a whole hour but I give it a damn good go.
I am also (SHOCK HORROR) looking forward to my C25K every other day. I managed 5 of the runs yesterday and I am determined to get through week one by the end of May. I feel a real sense of accomplishment when I drag my bum back up the stairs to my flat!
Oh dear, what is happening to me, 3 months ago I was happily munching pringles and not moving and now I have even been to a proper sports shop to get decent trainers! There is no hope left!
I am even going to walk tonight while K is at choir practise at Church. I will have 45 minutes to do 2.25 miles, I should be able to that with no problem, I just need to get my butt up the hills! The joy of going to church in one of the villages is the lovely scenery and area, sadly with that comes hills!
