Plus point

One of the huge plus points I am finding with doing Weight Watchers and exercising more is I have loads of energy. I think it is a combination of eating healthily and sleeping so much better. I used to to toss and turn and not always feel refreshed when I got up. I now have energy that I haven't felt since I was a teenager. Last night I completed my 2.25 mile walk with no trouble at all, I even powered up the hills.

For instance this morning so far, I have got up, hung out the washing that I did overnight, put another load on, been out to do my C25K still can't do the 8 runs but I managed 6, come back, had banana and yoghurt for breakfast, hung out second load of washing, had a shower, watered the plants and the window box and now sat down with a coffee to catch up with twitter, Facebook and blogs and it is only just 10.30! I have lost 22lb now, which is a huge amount, it is more than a car tyre! No wonder I have energy. I am thinking I might walk into town later which is just over a mile and a half, have a look round the shops, get my stamps and then get the bus back.

I just need to transfer some of that to K, she is currently lounging on the sofa in her pyjamas, my poor girl, Saturday is her recovery day, well it is until lunchtime when I am afraid my sympathy runs out and I put my mean mummy head on and make her do something, anything!

Wow! 22lbs. No wonder you have more energy, not carrying that around with you anymore. Well done!!

I think you'll find Kay will go the other way now she's approaching teenage years - they need more rest and sleep due to their fast changing brains!
