There I was tonight, dozing on the couch in front of David Attenborough ( I could listen to that man for hours, but that is a whole other blog post) when the phone rings. It is the bank. After verifying my ID they have phoned to say that some snivelly, smelly, toadlike, snakey, horrible, little git has tried to use my card details to buy stuff on various websites.
The upshot of it is that I have had to cut my card up and they will send me a new one. It doesn't sound much I know and I am lucky that my bank caught it before it cost me anything, but it is so annoying!!!!
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

bummer but at least they knew before you did. High 5 to the IT professional running those kind of systems :0)
Same thing happened to me last year.
I never complain when my credit card company ring to check that recent transactions are genuine; I'm glad they are checking!
Its good to know that your bank are on the case!
