We have woken up this morning to a lovely half inch or so of snow. K is of course gutted because she wants the schools to close. I am quite happy as I will be walking to work in this and do not want it to be deep!

Busy, Busy, Busy
There are interesting times at Church at the moment. Our vicar left at the beginning of November so we are now starting the process of advertising for a new one. I am lucky enough to be involved with the panel that is sorting out the type of person we need and what qualities we would like our new vicar to have. You would not believe how long a process this is, we will probably start advertising in the new year and hope to have a new chap or chapess in place within a couple of months. I know it is not funny, but I have vision of clergy all over the country reading the 'Situations Vacant' section of the Church Times over their morning tea and toast.

Aren't they rather scarce these days? I got the impression they were hard to come by, never mind having a criteria..Hope I am completely and utterly wrong..usually am :0) Good luck x
We have a curate right now, they are so Father Ted and Dougal to look at, I find it very hard to take them seriously!
ps thoroughly recommend moretvicar.com , I had a dress from them the other day. Came next day, didn't fit, sent it back next day, immediate refund, great customer service. It was a lovely dress too, curse these oversized boobs!
