I am so looking forward to starting our own traditions and creating memories that will be very special. I know many people hype Christmas up and end up being disappointed but for me it will be the little things.
Living with my parents, Christmas has always been done Mum's way, quite right too. Em and I always had input but a the end of the day it was her choices. This year I can do what I like! Mum has always gone with the adage 'Less is more' and her living room always looks classy and lovely. I however love gaudy and bright. I will have things hanging from the ceiling and I will have lights round my window and everything I can think of. I will go to Midnight Mass as always but I know, this year, I will get a very special thrill as I walk out into the night, knowing that I am going home to my own home.
